The Crankbrothers Mallet Trail BOA® clip-in shoe is the perfect blend of performance and adventure. Built for the trail or your next enduro race, the Mallet Trail BOA® will provide you all-day comfort paired with ultimate racing performance.

A lightweight yet durable rip-stop upper features a TPU-reinforced toe box for enhanced protection and a flexible collar around the ankle to prevent debris from entering the shoe. In addition, a fiber-reinforced shank and an aggressive outsole lug pattern bring pedaling efficiency and all-terrain versatility to every ride.

Our innovative Match System optimizes engagement for any MTB clip-in system, whether that’s Crankbrothers or SPD. It comes with Match shim and Crankbrothers cleat pre-installed in a neutral position, so they are ready to ride with Crankbrothers pedals right out of the box.

• Premium Materials & Construction - A BOA® Fit System Li2 dual-direction micro-adjustment dial for a precise fit, coupled with a quick-adjust hook-and loop strap for heel retention and stability. In addition, a rip-stop upper material provides durability without a weight penalty, and a TPU-reinforced toe box provides enhanced protection. 
• Elastic Collar - A lightweight & breathable elastic collar prevents trail debris from entering the shoe. 
• Match Box - Ramped cleat box offers easy pedal entry and mud shedding. The extended 35mm cleat track allows rearward positioning for added control and stability when descending. And, the cleat box depth is carefully chosen to allow for optimal shoe-to-pedal contact, right out of the box. 
• Match Compound - Mid-friction MC1 rubber compound for easy pedal entry and exit, plus long life. 
• Match Outsole - The new Trail tread pattern is designed for balanced traction on and off the bike, great walkability, and an optimized pedal interface. A stiff fiber-reinforced nylon shank transfers power efficiently, and a low-rebound EVA midsole damps vibration.
