The synthetic leather upper features a wraparound design to minimize empty space and excess volume, for improved comfort and pedaling efficiency. The carbon fiber sole is rated 10/12 on Shimano’s stiffness scale, so nearly every watt of output is transferred to the pedals. Shimano’s advanced Dynalast technology, dual L6 BOA dials, a stabilized heel, and expanded cleat adjustment all combine to make one of the most comfortable competition-worthy road shoes on the market.
