The GRIP 2 damper with Variable Valve Control (VVC) is the centrepiece of the Factory's performance advantage. Four-way adjustability — independent high and low-speed compression, and high and low-speed rebound — gives you an extraordinary level of tuning control, letting you match the fork's behaviour precisely to your weight, terrain, and riding style. VVC adds Fox's proprietary variable valve technology to the high-speed compression circuit for even sharper response to square-edged hits and variable terrain.

The FLOAT EVOL air spring delivers excellent small bump sensitivity off the top, reliable mid-stroke support, and tunable bottom-out progression via volume spacers. Lower leg bypass channels dramatically increase air volume in the lowers to reduce unintended pressure ramping, and built-in lower leg bleeders allow one-press atmospheric equalisation at any elevation — so the fork performs at its best whether you're riding sea level trails or high alpine descents. The floating axle system eliminates friction between upper and lower legs for consistently smooth, precise suspension action.

Factory status is completed by the signature Kashima Coat on the 38mm upper tubes — Fox's premium hard anodised treatment that reduces friction, increases durability, and looks unmistakably fast. The Kabolt axle shaves grams while increasing torsional stiffness via its sleeveless, single-sided pinch bolt design.
