Benno Half Rail

More security, more versatility. The Benno Half Rail is a rear rack add-on for compatible Benno cargo bikes that adds a partial rail enclosure to one side of the rear rack — striking the right balance between keeping passengers and cargo stable, while still allowing easy mounting and dismounting from the open side.

Whether you're carrying a child on the back, securing an awkward load, or simply want added peace of mind on longer rides, the Half Rail attaches directly to your Benno rack using the pre-drilled mounting points for a clean, secure fit. The Benno Rail Clamp Set is required for installation and sold separately.

Important compatibility notes: the Half Rail is compatible with Benno Boost EVO 1, EVO 2, EVO 3, Carry On, and 46er models only. It is NOT compatible with Boost EVO 4 and later — owners of those models should look for the Benno Half Rail PLUS instead.

Safety note: when carrying passengers on the rear rack, the rear wheel must be covered at all times. Install Benno Wheel Guards or Utility Pannier Bags (sold separately) before riding with a passenger.
