GU Energy Chews are crafted to supply both energy and key nutrients like electrolytes and amino acids to keep you feeling strong and energized. Energy Chews have similar nutrients per serving to Original GU Energy Gels, delivering the energy you need in chewable, bite-sized pieces.
A mix of fast-acting and sustained-release carb sources (maltodextrin and fructose) helps maximize absorption, increase carbohydrate utilization, and diminish stomach distress, for energy that kicks in quickly and stays with you.
Our Energy Chews contain sodium, the primary electrolyte lost in sweat. It aids in hydration by maintaining fluid balance.
We've also included a branched-chain amino acid blend of L-Leucine, L-Valine, and L-Isoleucine, which may reduce mental fatigue and decrease muscle damage while jump-starting recovery.*
