We want to provide E-MTB Bike riders with a truly social ride, and showcase one of the biggest benefits of E-MTB - the ability to ride Urban Singletrack routes to the trail-heads, leaving your car at home! No more crowded and complicated parking schemes.
What is 'The Gathering'?...An exploratory E-bike adventure day, taking full advantage of the dense trail network that North Vancouver has to offer... and making some new friends along the way. As you may, or may not know, you DO NOT have to ride on the road to get to our beloved North Shore trails. You also don't have to drive to the them, you can ride through a maze of urban singletrack, that drops you right off at the trailhead! That is exactly what we want to showcase... E-bikes are the best they have ever been... why not get the maximum enjoyment out of them? Not to mention cars.... Scary!!!
We will meet at the shop on Saturday, May 24 at 9:30am to fill-out paperwork and get acquainted. The ride will be split into 4 or more groups, with 8 ride leaders. Each showcasing a unique, different 'approach' to link the trail networks. Groups will depart from the shop at 10:00am - Reconvening back at the shop (382 Esplanade E, North Vancouver, BC V7L 1A4) for approximately 12:30pm. Light lunch and beverage provided from the likes of Beere Brewing!
